Blog #8 World Folktales and Fables Week

March 1-7 is World Folktales and Fables Week. With FCAT testing coming up and our commitment to finishing “Romeo and Juliet”, we are not able to celebrate the week right now….but we shall be right after FCAT. This will be an interdisciplinary unit in Geography, English, Spanish and Technology. Think of a folktale from either America or one from another country that you know about. The sooner you select yours the better, because once someone else uses say for example….Paul Bunyon form America and then gives the SITE they found it on….you cannot use it then….if there is a folktale similar to it from anther country then you can use that.
So…..here is what has to be in the BLOG
your name. Your period
the name of the folktale-the country it is from
two or three sentences of what it is about
the url site you obtained the folktale or fable from
happy hunting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
